Complete required paperwork for locates and line crossings/excavations
Communicate work scopes and responsibilities amongst project specific field-based teams
Mark found utilities using proper coloring system (APWA marking standards)
Generate and gather equipment for kickoffs of projects
Gather data, prepare records and reports in a timely manner
Work safely by adhering to LSC and client guidelines and procedures
Respond to locate requests within legal time limit
Work in compliance with all technical procedures and guidelines
Read and interpret utility maps/prints to identify the size and type of underground utility.
Perform daily safety meetings and submit daily report documentations
Operate and use electronic locating equipment
Document and report any incidents, near misses, and opportunities for improvement

Physical stamina to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. in challenging environments
Availability to participate in on-call rotation
Complete and maintain operator qualifications (OQs)
High School Diploma required
Capability to operate a company vehicle and use general hand/power tools
Comfortable working in confined spaces.
Be available for on-call rotation
Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. Previous outdoor experience is a plus.
Prior utility locating experience is a plus, but we are willing to train
Technology & Equipment: You’ll be equipped with a company laptop and tools that are reliable and ready for the field.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to interact clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
Valid driver’s license is required and a safe driving record
Able to distinguish between colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs
Available to work overtime and weekends as needed, handling the physical demands of extended hours.
Must have strong critical thinking, organizational, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities
