Oversees and leads in the development of BIM Execution Plans for projects
Leads the set-up, maintenance, and development of project models
Maintains drawing revisions.
Creates electronic data files in compliance with Stantec and client requirements.
Collaborate with the Structural Engineers to resource and staff projects.
Evaluates and recommends BIM related software
Reviews projects for adherence to firm standards
Converts markups to document-ready work.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop standards and process improvements.
Communicates corporate initiatives and standards to the BC team
Publishes, posts, and manages drawing sets.
Works with project managers and technical design staff to prepare drawing documentation.
Acts as liaison for BIM related subject matter both internally and externally.
Creates end user training and support materials
Increases technical and project knowledge by proactively identifying and participating in training opportunities.
Develops families and other electronic template materials following corporate guidelines.
Actively participates in meetings, initiatives, and projects that support group and firm-wide goals.
Attends in-house project meetings and external meetings.
Provides insight and recommendations to increase efficiency and value of BIM production.
Assists other staff with Revit issues and mentors design staff in Design Technology systems use across multiple office locations

Experience with modeling software (Autodesk Revit required, Navisworks, Rhino preferred)
Familiarity with methods of design to support the buildings architectural/engineering field.
Strong working knowledge of recent versions of Revit and how it is applied within the built environment.
Familiarity with Computer Aided Design tools (AUTOCAD)
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with Revit, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skilled at clash detection in Revit. Clash detection skills with Navisworks is preferred.
Experience with general business software (Microsoft Office suite)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines according to client and internal needs and schedules.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Certifications relevant to the position.
Client-centric, can-do approach to project work and assignments.
Strong working knowledge of Building Information Modeling.
High level of initiative, with ability to synthesize new technologies, industry trends, and client needs to make recommendations and initiative changes that add efficiency and value.
Familiarity with structural design in the buildings sector.
Certificate from technical college. Advanced degree in related field preferred.
Related experience in the architectural/engineering/contractor industry.
