Sheriff: Oversee the design process to ensure progress aligns with target value budgets, milestones, and schedule commitments.
Participate in multi-discipline engineering teams for Transportation (freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural highways, and shared-use facilities), Design-Build (DB) and/or Progressive Design-Build (PDB) pursuits and projects.
Collaborate closely with estimating, operations, and design partners to optimize design solutions that balance performance, schedule, and cost.
Advocate: Foster and sustain a collaborative environment among owners, designers, contractors, and trade partners with varying backgrounds and viewpoints.
Coordinate project pursuit design and deliverables to meet estimating and construction needs.
Support proposal development and presentations during design-build pursuits, ensuring technical accuracy and clarity.
Develop project models and perform quantity takeoffs.
Motivate: Drive performance by engaging and aligning diverse professionals to meet project needs, even when it requires stepping outside traditional design processes.
Manage electronic and digital information for the project team to ensure version control, accessibility, and data integrity.
Lead and coordinate constructability reviews, pursuit and project engineering refinement, and concept evaluations.

Advanced understanding of Bently Open Roads Designer and ProjectWise Explorer.
Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, walk, stand; Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Communicate: Translate effectively across the languages of “owner,” “designer,” “contractor,” and “trade partner” to ensure clear, consistent understanding among all stakeholders.

Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels
2+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design
Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
Professional Engineering License is preferred
