The position reports to the Energy Services Director and their team, delivering monthly financial results, analyzing business performance, and ensuring proper accounting policies are applied. It also partners with future energy service growth projects, supervises the legal entity accountant, and oversees monthly closing, forecasts, and financial presentations.
- Develop financial models and business strategies to meet customer energy goals and assess economic returns.
- Determine appropriate accounting treatment for new and existing energy transactions.
- Coordinate effectively with cross‑functional partners across the business.
- Review, analyze, and communicate monthly financial results, annual business plans, and quarterly forecasts.
- Design, implement, and maintain internal controls and procedures.
- Prepare ad‑hoc project financials and complete annual business reporting and tax requests.
- Supervise the legal entity accountant, guiding monthly closing activities and quarterly forecasts.
- Approve monthly entries, review financial statements, and present results to management.
- Coach, train, and develop team members through career planning.
