Lead/support plant cross functional teams through the Manufacturing Readiness Assessment and develop the open issues matrix
Work with various manufacturing groups to organize and implement recommendations or process/testing changes in order to comply with contractual requirements
Develop initial in-process inspection plan for Live Bus
Attend Pre-production meetings and present the New Flyer Quality system presentations to customers
Assist/conduct training to Production/QA on process/testing implementation changes
Oversee Advanced Quality Planning function for their plant
Investigate and review all relevant information in preparation for upcoming builds of high-risk customers/contracts

Diploma in quality control, or quality management
5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment with focus on quality, corrective and preventative actions
Knowledge of quality control, manufacturing, production and product knowledge and customer relations
Ability to read blueprints and determine design requirements form related specification
Effective critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Oracle operations considered an asset
Experience with data analysis and root cause analysis
Strong presentation skills; ability to conduct meetings with customers and various levels of the Organization
