The Senior Energy Engineer will lead energy modeling, audits, and analysis for new and renovated projects, collaborate with principals on scope and schedule, and produce reports and LEED documentation while guiding junior staff and managing project timelines.

- Independently evaluate, select, and adapt standard M/E techniques and procedures.
- Collaborate with Principal/Associate to define project scope and deliverable schedule.
- Perform energy modeling and simulations for new and renovated buildings.
- Conduct building energy audits and analyze consumption patterns.
- Utilize life‑cycle cost analysis software for energy assessments.
- Review HVAC and electrical designs and recommend energy‑efficiency improvements.
- Develop spreadsheet calculations for energy analysis.
- Complete USGBC LEED templates (MEP and related categories).
- Prepare and deliver final project reports.
- Participate in client and design team meetings.
- Develop comprehensive energy master plans.
- Supervise and assign work to engineering and design staff to meet deadlines.
- Estimate workforce needs and schedule resources for project completion.

- Hold a Professional Engineering (PE) license or be an Engineer‑in‑Training working toward PE.
- Bachelor of Science in engineering (or equivalent) with 7–12 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with DOE‑2, eQuest, and other energy modeling software.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification preferred.
- USGBC LEED AP or BD+C accreditation preferred.
- Familiarity with renewable energy, deep‑energy savings, and net‑zero strategies.
