  • Lead audits, risk assessments and compliance activities related to information governance.
  • Review, Update and reimplement the Program's information management strategy aligned with Inland Rails policies.
  • Establish secure and efficient procedures for information handling, sharing and archiving.
  • Collaboration with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders to ensure seamless information flow.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws, records management standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the enhancement of M365 projects to improve the projects management of information. Raise the Information Management maturity level through education and training, and support others in the daily use of information systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards.

About You To be successful in this role you will need to be a strategic and detail-oriented professional with expertise in information governance, records management, and Microsoft 365 systems. You will thrive in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, demonstrating excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. You like to be proactive, compliance-focused, and capable of leading change while supporting teams through training and collaboration. You will be able to demonstrate

  • Excellent understanding of information and records administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
  • Experience with developing and implementing information and record governance in a large project setting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. (highly proficient is desirable)
  • Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies and practices.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and collaboration skills with demonstrated experience in collaborating with a diverse range of people working in multi-faceted functions, leading to successful outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of the Archive Act 1983 and Privacy Act 1988
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent experience.
