The RME Planner joins the Reliability Maintenance and Engineering (RME) team and collaborates with the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) group and the Reliability Manager to maximize uptime of material‑handling equipment. The role develops maintenance plans, screens work orders, audits equipment, and estimates labor, materials, and tools to support a proactive, reliability‑centered maintenance program.
Day‑to‑day activities include measuring and publishing facility performance metrics, maintaining accurate equipment and spare‑part metadata, and managing work‑order data such as user setup, crews, and schedules. The Planner also creates preventive‑maintenance plans, supports management in reviewing work‑order accuracy, drives materials‑management processes, conducts cycle counts, and works with corporate EAM analysts to implement new functionality and training.
Required qualifications are a high‑school diploma (or equivalent) and at least two years of experience planning, scheduling, and auditing facilities maintenance, plus basic computer skills with Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in a related field, three or more years of enterprise software experience, project‑management expertise, four years with enterprise asset management software (Infor EAM ASE highly desired), and data‑analysis experience.
The position entails physical demands such as repetitive bending, crouching, lifting parts up to 49 lb, and working in varied conditions including small spaces, dust, fumes, temperature extremes, and uneven surfaces. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and up to 15 % travel is required.
