Sr Financial Planning Analyst

Description

• Supports the LCH executive team and sales team with monthly reporting on PVM and other financial metrics
• Supports the maintenance of various systems/databases used for PVM, forecasts, and analysis
• Supports the execution of the strategic plan, including the achievement of a billion-dollar revenue and margin targets
• Reviews financial results with business partners, comparing and analyzing actuals versus plan, forecast, and prior year to analyze the cause of variances, identify trends, and monitor impacts to key performance indicators
• Collaborates with appropriate partners to understand key business performance drivers, then, based on financial results, communicates findings, insights, and implications to the LCH executive team
• Decision Quality: You make thoughtful and timely decisions with the best interest of the organization in mind, prioritizing and organizing key deliverables and ensuring stakeholder buy-in.
• Leads the development of financial models and other analytical tools to enhance the efficiency of business applications and processes
• Acts as a finance thought leader and subject matter expert for the LCH business unit’s PVM analysis
• Coaches less-experienced financial analysts as needed
• Develops annual financial plan targets for LCH and constituent channels, updating monthly

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or MBA Candidate a plus
• Situational Adaptability: You flex your approach and demeanor to suit various scenarios. You successfully shift gears as new developments and competing priorities arise – balancing routine tasks, urgent action items, and long-term projects comes naturally to you.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 5 years of related experience
• Excellent financial modeling skills
• Knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, BW, Hyperion) and/or analytics platforms (e.g., Qlik) preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)
