Manage and maintain data accuracy in project management tools (Teams, Monday.com).

Project Control Specialist (PCS)
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced Project Control Specialist who provides important support for project execution and financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures coordination across teams, systems, and clients. The Project Control Specialist drives operational excellence by: supporting project setup, tracking, and closeout; monitoring budgets forecasts, performance, and risk and indicators; maintaining accurate reporting and compliance documentation; providing insight that supports informed decision-making and transparency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, and familiar with engineering, construction and/or consulting processes.

- 5+ years of experience in project coordination, operations support, or construction management, preferably in civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure industry.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, construction or business-related field preferred.
- Ability to analyze project data, track progress, and highlight discrepancies or concerns for project managers to address.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
- Experience with cost tracking and project financials, including budget management and invoicing processes.
- Relevant certifications and/or pertinent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify issues and implement solutions in a proactive manner.
- Ability to anticipate and address potential project issues before they become significant problems.
- Proven experience working on multiple small to large-scale projects, including transportation, utilities, site development, or other infrastructure projects.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other office productivity tools.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Buildertrend) and document management tools.
- Familiarity with construction documents, including drawings, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Strong knowledge of project management processes, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and documentation control.
- Familiarity with civil engineering design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) or construction-related software is a plus.
