Train other assembly personnel in assembly, installation, and inspection techniques.
Utilize tooling in assembling components into sub-assemblies or end items.
Move products within manufacturing areas using shop-assigned equipment.
Perform minor routine machine maintenance (e.g., filters, lights, lubrication/coolant levels).
Obtain required information from prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, documents, verbal, and electronic sources.
Use shop mathematics and precision measuring or test instruments for assignments.
Follow drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established procedures.
Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete precision and structural/system components.
Complete transactions necessary for moving products to the next operation.
Verify work aligns with work instructions, process, and engineering specifications.
Support continuous product flow by training and assisting employees at all classification levels.
Identify discrepancies according to procedure.
Complete work within allotted schedules.
Perform functional testing and ensure fit, form, and function of assemblies/components.
