The Vice President of Property Management is accountable for the overall performance of the company’s property portfolio, ensuring properties are maintained, leased, and contribute maximally to revenue while aligning management practices with corporate objectives.
- Lead and develop high‑performing property‑management teams.
- Create and execute strategies to maximize profitability and resident satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with residents, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Develop, monitor, and control budgets and financial reports for each property.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures to meet legal requirements.
- Coordinate with HR, recruiting, marketing, and other departments to fill vacancies quickly.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to keep operations competitive.
- Oversee administration, maintenance, and operations of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Collect fees, rentals, deposits, taxes, and other operating expenses.
- Assess repair and maintenance needs through regular inspections.
- Serve as liaison between onsite managers, tenants, and owners.
- Communicate the strategic direction of the operations division and implement related initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve company goals.
