Tasks

-Maintain a database of aggregate product specifications and quality comparisons across markets. -Support and participate in R&D of new or improved aggregate materials and testing processes. -Develop and approve new QC methods and techniques as necessary with ASTM and DOT standards. -Lead product development and quality improvement programs, including pilot testing and process optimization. -Maintain close working relationships with internal and external customers to align quality goals and enhance satisfaction. -Assess equipment needs and facilitate procurement to support QC operations. -Coordinate and support field and laboratory testing to ensure compliance with ASTM and DOT specifications. -Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve complex quality or process issues involving materials, sampling, and applications. -Develop or optimize mix designs to ensure efficiency is achieved through RAP and virgin binder utilization. -Audit lab equipment, field instruments, and QA processes to ensure calibration and adherence to SOPs. -Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and best practices. -Conduct inspections and analyze statistical data to monitor process performance and identify deviations.
