  • Monitor compliance with Minto and Ministry of Labour (MOL) safety policies.
  • Support the implementation of eCompliance tools and training.
  • Ensure proper installation of signage, temporary fencing, safety rails, and ramps.
  • Report safety trends and concerns to the General Site Superintendent.
  • Maintain site safety documentation and training records.
  • Collaborate with site teams to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Maintain records of trade partner certifications and policies.
  • Lead toolbox talks and safety orientations for new trades.
  • Maintain and inspect on-site safety equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, first aid kits).
  • Coordinate safety meetings, take minutes, and track infractions.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits; follow up on corrective actions.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Clear, confident communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 2–5 years of health and safety experience, ideally in construction.

  • High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
