Compile field data, prepare minor work orders, and maintain detailed reports.
Achieve weekly billable goals as defined by project guidelines.
Develop a working knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), electric utility construction standards, and communication facilities.
Perform system inventories, audits, joint use management, permitting, pad-mount inspections, ground-line pole inspections, metering and apparatus services, and lighting audits.
Conduct visual inspections of overhead and underground electrical distribution equipment.
Operate equipment like height sticks and range finders to take accurate measurements.
Utilize laptops, tablets, GPS, and other electronic devices for field data collection.
Measure and map out Low Voltage Distribution (LVD) systems.
Perform pole inspections and maintenance on pad-mount equipment.
Identify and record electrical equipment on poles.

Basic computer proficiency, including Excel.
Field data collection and utility locating experience.
High School Diploma or Associate Technology Degrees preferred if work experience aligns with the criteria.
Comfortable with heavy field work.
Experience with GIS, distribution engineering, civil engineering, CAD, substation design, transmission design, mechanical design, surveying, protective relay, and instrumentation controls is advantageous.
Experience in physically demanding roles such as manual labor, construction, utility locating, landscaping, manufacturing, or warehouse/cold storage.
Candidates aged 21+ are preferred to meet company vehicle driving requirements, though 20+ may be acceptable.
