Prepare bridge layouts, material quantity calculations, and construction specifications for new and rehabilitated structures.
Mentor and support other engineers while continuing to grow your leadership and technical expertise.
Manage and coordinate projects, communicating effectively with clients, partners, and team members.
Collaborate closely with roadway, geotechnical, and other engineering teams to deliver coordinated project solutions.
Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure technical accuracy and quality deliverables.
Lead and perform bridge and structural design — including layout, analysis, and plan development — in accordance with MDOT and AASHTO standards.
Contribute to the full project lifecycle, from concept through construction, across a variety of bridge types and complexities.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Experience with MDOT and/or MDOT LAP projects
Proficiency with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design standards
Strong communication and teamwork skills — with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
