2nd Shift Shape Production Lead

Description

• Direct production personnel to meet order timelines while adhering to safety and quality standards and regulations.
• Lead a small team independently, ensuring production schedules and quality standards are met and reporting issues to supervisor.
• Operate and set up production equipment.
• Perform data collection tasks in PeopleSoft ERP.
• Maximize yield and reduce scrap.
• Report department metrics.
• Verify order specifications and produce parts within material, density, weight, size, and shape tolerances to meet customer and productivity requirements.

Requirements

• Understand manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures.
• Possess prior manufacturing/industrial experience (preferred).
• Possess prior supervisory/lead experience (preferred).
• Be fluent in written and spoken English.
• Use simple math and basic hand‑held measuring tools.
• Be computer literate with Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED (preferred).
