Maintain required project documentation such as DAS-140, DAS-142, exemption letters, CPRs, fringe benefit statements, statements of compliance/non-performance, and apprenticeship certificates.
Prepare and review certified payroll reports that document hours worked, worker classifications, wage rates (including fringe), deductions, and net pay.
Ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws including California Labor Code requirements and the Davis-Bacon Act and
Track and collect any missing subcontractor documentation in a timely manner.
Monitor certified payroll submissions for both self-performed and subcontracted public works projects.
Stay current on public works special requirements and assist in training or clarification as needed.
Generate, review, and upload XML files using labor compliance platforms.
Conduct periodic audits and spot checks to confirm accuracy and full compliance.
Prepare CAC training fund forms on a monthly basis.
Upload documentation to external systems.
Monitor incoming labor compliance emails and address urgent inquiries promptly.

2–3 years of experience in certified payroll, labor compliance, or a related compliance role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; capable of accurately managing and analyzing detailed data.
Experience working in the construction industry or with union-related compliance processes is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organization, accuracy, and deadline management skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and available for full-time hours (Monday–Friday), with overtime as needed.
Familiarity with documentation such as DAS 140/142, DIR registration, wage determinations, and apprenticeship compliance.
Hands-on familiarity with certified payroll content, including classifications, hours, wages, fringe benefits, deductions, and reporting requirements.
Experience with labor compliance systems (e.g., LCPtracker, California DIR website )
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Effective communication and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Working knowledge of prevailing wage laws such as the Davis-Bacon Act and California Labor Code Sections 1720–1861.
