  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Project Managers and Engineers, Designers and Drafters of the Civil discipline and other related disciplines (i.e., mechanical, and structural).
  • Provide quality in the delivery of design models and drafting deliverables for various stages of design in studies and execution phase projects including the development of material take-off’s (MTO’s).
  • Successfully plan and complete assigned projects within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • Ensure production of project documents are accurate and clear and compliant with best practice and any other quality standards dictated by the nature of the project
  • Working with junior designers and drafters and guide them in delivery.
  • Interface and represent Fluor with key Clients and Contractors.
  • Design coordination for selected projects or components of projects including taking responsibility for collaborating with other design disciplines in areas such as earthworks, roadworks, and drainage.

  • Comprehensive design experience (>7 years) delivering resource and infrastructure projects.
  • Flexible working approach (RDO available).
  • Relevant engineering degree and/or certifications.

  • Strong portfolio of overseas and Australian projects.
  • Sound knowledge and experience working with relevant Australian standards including AUSTROADS.
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver quality outputs within desired timeframes.
  • Demonstrated industry experience using software across civil projects.
