Cook

Description

The standard shift runs from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with required weekend coverage. Employees must follow the assigned schedule and may be asked to adjust for special events or catering needs.

The Cook is responsible for accurately completing prep lists and preparing meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events. Duties include a range of cooking and preparation tasks that may vary by account and client requirements.

All staff must comply with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies, adhering to safety protocols, environmental responsibilities, and quality standards. Participation in HSEQ training and prompt reporting of hazards are required.

• Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness for a safe environment.
• Follow workplace safety, food safety, HACCP, and internal audit SOPs daily.
• Operate large-volume culinary equipment safely (slicer, mixer, processors, blenders, chopper).
• Clock in/out for work and breaks, and attend daily meetings.
• Prepare high-quality food according to NetMenu recipes and production sheets.
• Follow federal, state, and local food preparation regulations.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment per company and regulatory standards.
• Report ingredient discrepancies, safety issues, or equipment problems to management.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, lift up to 35 lb, and use team lifts or carts for heavy loads.
