What you would be doing

  • You’ll support environmental and carbon reporting for our businesses
  • You’ll work with all sites to develop, update, and maintain Environmental and Societal Action Plans in alignment with ENGIE policies
  • You will identify Best Management Practices (BMPs) and create implementation strategies using each site’s Action Plan as the backbone
  • You will assist in organizing and managing company-wide decarbonization programs
  • You will attend and participate in internal and external meetings
  • You will communicate using email, Teams meetings, and phone calls
  • You will uphold ENGIE’s safety culture and confidentiality expectations in all activities
  • You will assist in developing sustainability communications for ENGIE North America
  • You will develop and produce site-level community reports that summarize the site profile, stakeholder interactions, and ENGIE context; coordinating review and distribution across all sites

  • You have the ability to use a personal computer, and standard Microsoft Office products
  • This role requires a minimum of three (3) years of environmental science/engineering or sustainability coursework
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and driven to complete tasks at hand
  • You must be currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university
  • You possess the ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Comfortable delivering presentations and facilitating training
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrates integrity and reliability in maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to think critically and act independently
  • Bonus: basic data visualization (Power BI/Tableau), GHG accounting concepts, stakeholder engagement experience, and capable of writing / storytelling.
  • You must have the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, and to effectively communicate data digitally to stakeholders
  • You must be able to meet highest attendance requirements
