Moving I-4 Forward Structures Team Lead

RS&H is seeking a Structures Team Lead for the Moving I-4 Forward Program Office in Celebration, FL. This embedded position reports to the office five days per week and is part of the infrastructure team. The role serves as a team expert or project lead, preparing specifications, analysis, reports, and design documents, and performing quality-control reviews, field observations, and milestone tracking. The incumbent may also provide technical guidance to junior staff and manage small multidisciplinary teams to ensure contractual compliance.

The successful candidate will oversee project design, planning, and impact studies, conduct cost analyses and site selection, and develop complete project layouts. They will also assign tasks to junior staff, oversee quality control, and ensure key project milestones are achieved.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program and 10 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
• Proficiency in production software and construction document production.
• Proven ability to address challenging or potentially controversial issues in a professional, business-like manner.
• Experience on major projects or multiple moderate-size projects, providing technical guidance to junior staff, reviewing work for accuracy, and contributing to design and implementation of new services, processes, standards, or operational plans with significant impact.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, contractors, team members, and key stakeholders.
