- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork and reports.
- Carry out testing to ensure accurate fault diagnosis.
- To ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with Health and Safety Procedures.
- Carrying out machine commissions, demonstrations and operator familiarisation as required.
- Ensure levels of van stock are always adequate and company issued equipment and PPE is looked after.
- Attending customer sites to conduct and complete scheduled services or repair work on Wirtgen Group equipment.
- To represent the Company in a professional manner, especially when on a Customer site, building and maintaining positive relationships with the customer base.
- Communicating with the office coordination team to ensure effective planning and delivery of the service schedule.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an enquiring mind.
- Hold an NVQ 3 in Mechanical Engineering / Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
- Happy to travel extensively throughout the UK, including some overnight stays.
- Good knowledge and experience of repairing / servicing plant equipment, preferably large mobile plant on customer sites.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Must be keen to develop and learn new skills and gain new knowledge.
- Be able to read parts, hydraulic and electrical diagrams and troubleshoot all systems effectively.
