Reporting to management, the engineer will lead process‑improvement projects, ensure compliance with the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct, and support a culture of continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
- Develop and recommend methods to improve accuracy, efficiency, and speed of production processes.
- Provide problem‑solving training to production personnel.
- Create and execute project plans to meet plant quality objectives using standardized tools.
- Conduct process audits and coordinate activities to sustain and enhance the production system.
- Lead Quality Dojo training sessions and implement improvements from QFL notifications and Pareto analyses.
- Review production schedules, engineering specifications, and orders to understand manufacturing methods.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional and global teams to standardize processes and run Kaizen workshops.
- Communicate project status, schedules, and issues to stakeholders regularly.
- Serve as Project Manager for assigned process‑improvement projects, reporting on workload, budget, and timeline.
- Submit detailed progress reports on schedule and budget performance.
- Promote compliance with the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct and corporate policies.

Candidates must hold a BSc in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering and possess relevant process‑improvement experience, with the ability to travel and work overtime as needed. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities are essential.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of process‑improvement engineering experience (or 7 years without a degree).
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work overtime when needed.
- Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and detail‑orientation skills for complex problems.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of manufacturing process design, materials, and methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective organization, planning, follow‑up, and project‑management capabilities.
- Leadership, change‑management, and SAP experience; Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
