

Design and develop mechanical components using CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), create CNC-ready files, perform engineering calculations, and produce detailed technical drawings and documentation.
Apply quality and precision standards (TQM, micrometers, bore gauges) while supporting prototype fabrication, testing, process optimisation, and continuous improvement activities.
Collaborate across teams and suppliers on manufacturing processes, quality standards, design changes, technical reporting, and the coordination of multiple engineering tasks and projects.
Program, set up, and proof CNC lathes and mills (Fanuc, Okuma, Mitsubishi), ensuring safe, accurate tool paths and supporting prototype and production runs as needed.

This an opportunity to join a leading global manufacturer renowned within their field and have been established for over 30 years with their unique hydraulic products where you will bridge engineering design and hands on manufacturing with set up CNC lathes and mills, combining CAD proficiency with CNC programming.
Technical qualification or degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
Hands-on and mechanically inclined, with exposure to CNC programming, machining and CAD software
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
