As a Diesel Mechanic you will service trucks and equipment that serve over 20 million customers nationwide, using modern tools and procedures on diesel and, at some locations, CNG trucks. You will take pride in delivering high‑skill maintenance that keeps the community moving.
Key duties include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems, estimating time and material costs, adhering to Standard Labor Repair Times, responding to emergency breakdowns, performing safety checks, completing required paperwork, and maintaining a clean, OSHA‑compliant work area.
Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be 18 years or older, legally authorized to work in the United States, and able to meet the physical demands of the job. Successful applicants will also pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical, and thrive as team‑oriented, independent problem‑solvers who enjoy varied challenges.
