- Use your creativity to fabricate standard and special jigs, fixtures, gages, tools, assemblies, and more.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution to quality and technical issues in a cross-functional, collaborative manner.
- You will design and develop and creative tooling fixture solutions that adapt off-the shelf portable machining tools for custom steam and gas turbine repair applications.
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams across the GE Vernova organization to manage process and product improvement projects.

- Min. 3 years of experience with graphical based CAD/CAM software
- You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, embracing and driving positive change within and outside the organization when appropriate.
- You are someone passionate about driving engineering solutions for field machining repairs for our power generation customers.
- Min. 3 years of experience in Tool Fixture design or CNC machining
- Engineering or related bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or technical fields.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with employing a high level of creativity.
- Min. 3 years of practical experience in four (4) or more of the following categories of machines or processes: Lathes, mills, operator-controlled precision grinding, drills, heat treat or cutter grind with the ability to hold close tolerances (+/- 0.001”).
