Senior Building Envelope

Description

• Work with clients and internal teams to develop new architectural details or remedial solutions for building enclosure systems.
• Collaborate with other regional offices and the corporate team to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Prepare clear, concise reports and documentation.
• Provide technical expertise in exterior wall systems, including aluminum-and-glass curtain walls, window systems, masonry, stone, precast concrete, and unitized/panelized façades with barrier wall, rain screen, or pressure-equalized performance.
• Participation in national standards committees.
• Support local market development and cultivate client relationships throughout Boston, New England, and the Northeastern U.S.
• Advise on sealants, flashings, thermal insulation, and air/water/vapor barrier materials within these systems.
• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings, wind tunnel reports, and technical specifications.
• Conduct field observations, condition surveys, and diagnostic testing in accordance with industry standards.

Requirements

• Utilize MS Word, MS Excel, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat Pro for project deliverables.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.
• Licensed Architect or Engineer (or actively pursuing licensure).
• Communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
