The role works a 06:00‑14:30 shift (one day ending at 14:00) Monday‑Sunday on a five‑week pattern with two days off in lieu. As a Technical Advisor on the Wholesale Service Desk, you will help manage the water supply network, investigating and escalating issues such as no water, low pressure, or taste and smell problems.
- Assess customer water‑supply issues to prioritize field‑team work.
- Communicate network interruptions and provide updates via website and telephone.
- Resolve customer enquiries received by email or telephone.
- Update customer accounts after each contact for accurate records.
- Follow‑up with customers after investigations or works to ensure service completion.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge using available tools and resources.
- Build relationships with peers to enhance teamwork and productivity.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings.
