Accounts Executive

Description

• Prepare monthly AR and AP aging analyses, collection forecasts, and relevant provisions.
• Reconcile outstanding payments with customers and suppliers.
• Update and maintain accurate accounting transactions.
• Liaise with external auditor for yearly audit.
• Maintain inventory reconciliation records.
• Accounts Receivable (AR): Issue billings and update receipt records; Send monthly Statements of Account (SOA) to customers; Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.
• Verify and process petty cash claims.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Verify purchase invoices and ensure all documentation is complete; Process payments accurately and on time.
• Handle adhoc tasks as required.
• Create project job numbers and job items in the system for projects.
• Liaise with stakeholders in respect of payments and invoicing.
• Perform monthly or quarterly journal postings.
• Ensure accurate and timely system postings for quarterly GST submissions.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of full set accounting processes is preferred.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proven working experience in the accounts or finance field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
