Leading the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and other project documents.
Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by senior management.
Prepares project work plan, scope, schedule, and budget, and communicates these to project team members; monitors/manages project production for compliance with schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
Identifies new business opportunities for AECOM, coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promotes AECOM’s capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective clients.
May supervise technical professionals, associate project managers, and design staff including workload and staffing management.
Serves as lead engineer and/or project manager on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects including large diameter water, sanitary sewer, or reclaimed water pipelines.
Assisting with marketing needs within the region.
Participating in professional societies relevant to the industry.

Wastewater experience required.
Experience working with local clients in Florida.
Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida.
Experience and familiarity with the following programs: AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, Sewer/Water CAD.

BA/BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field + 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Valid Driver’s License and as a condition of employment must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
Candidates must have proven interpersonal skills, including client interaction, public speaking, and persuasive ability; strong project financial management along with ability to lead diverse, multi-disciplined teams.
8 + years of relevant experience in large diameter conveyance systems design.
10+ years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design, including pipelines and lift stations.
3+ years of Project Management Experience.
Experience with design-build or alternative project delivery methods.
