- Prépare les surfaces avant leur peinture en effectuant leur nettoyage, en bouchant les trous et fissures et en ponçant les imperfections
- Effectue les réparations et la finition sur les cloisons sèches endommagées
- Prépare les budgets et les devis pour la gestion des projets planifiés
- Évalue la quantité de matériaux nécessaires en mesurant les surfaces ou en examinant le bon de travail associé

- Applique une couche d’apprêt ou un produit de scellement avant la peinture, ou un enduit de précollage avant d’appliquer le papier peint
- Connaissance actualisée des codes du bâtiment et de sécurité pour les travaux extérieurs et intérieurs
- Utilise des pinceaux, rouleaux ou pistolets pour l’application des revêtements liquides (peinture, teinture ou vernis) sur les surfaces en bois, en métal, en brique, en béton, en plâtre, en stuc ou en pierre
- Applique des revêtements muraux en papier, en vinyle ou en tissu naturel ou synthétique
- Élimine les anciens revêtements à l’aide de solvants, d’abrasifs, des brosses métalliques ou de jets d’eau ou de sable
- Capacité à déplacer des échelles lourdes et des équipements commerciaux.
- Licence délivrée par la Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ)
- Applique des finis à l’aide d’éponges, de chiffons ou en couches
- Capacité à travailler en hauteur
- S’assure de l’utilisation des bonnes couleurs en se procurant des peintures prémélangées, ou en effectuant le mélange de la couleur avec les pigments, l’huile, et les agents de dilution et de séchage requis
