Civil Project Manager

Description

• Lead design team from concept through construction documents, producing drawings, specifications, and reports for DOT approval, bidding, and construction.
• Collaborate with clients on their projects.
• Work with interdisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and planners to plan, design, and oversee construction.
• Act as client representative, coordinating meetings with governing agencies and handling pre‑bid, bid openings, pre‑construction, progress, final inspection, and closeout meetings.
• Coordinate project bid process, preparing bid tabulations and award recommendation letters.
• Provide construction administration services, reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, reviewing pay applications, and managing observation and materials testing teams.
• Prepare business development proposals and collaborate on business development efforts in the Southeast region.
• Prepare scope and fee proposals, negotiate contracts, develop work plans, monitor schedules, invoice monthly, and track budgets and team performance.
• Ensure clear communication with internal and external teams, clients, and authorities.

Requirements

Passero Associates is seeking a talented Civil Project Manager to join its St. Augustine, FL office. The role requires 10+ years of experience and will involve a diverse range of civil, site, and aviation projects using the latest industry technology. Projects serve aviation, commercial, municipal, and institutional clients, and the firm emphasizes teamwork while promoting individual responsibility.

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license required.
• 10+ years civil development experience with strong land‑use and municipal approval knowledge.
• Aviation project experience a plus.
• Skilled in conducting board and client meetings for moderate to large projects.
• Experienced in overseeing project submissions and related documentation.
• Proven ability to develop and mentor junior team members.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle; ability to report to St. Augustine office.
