The Vice President, Market Officer – Toronto will serve as the local market leader for a portfolio of more than 15 million sq ft across 40 buildings in the GTA. Based in Toronto, the role oversees leasing, marketing, forecasting, strategic planning, real‑estate and customer experience, and works closely with capital deployment, development and construction teams on acquisitions and developments.
The VP will lead a six‑person team covering leasing, marketing, customer experience and property management, set and execute the market’s vision, strategy, KPIs and annual business plan, and maintain Prologis’ position as the industry leader in the Toronto market while representing the company with municipal and community stakeholders.
- Lead a 6‑person leasing, marketing, customer experience and property‑management team, fostering an inspirational environment.
- Define, communicate and execute the market’s vision, strategy, KPIs and annual business plan.
- Develop and close real‑estate transactions that support core logistics operations and emerging lines such as solar, mobility, essentials and Prologis Ventures.
- Monitor market trends, lease and sale comparables, supply‑demand dynamics and historical data to inform strategy.
- Achieve financial targets, manage expenses, and oversee accounting, reporting, monthly trend analysis and re‑forecasting.
- Partner with capital‑deployment and construction teams to monetize the land bank through ground‑up development and new asset acquisitions.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, brokers, investors, consultants, planners and regulatory authorities.
- Provide strong leadership, mentoring and performance‑driven coaching to a results‑oriented team.
- Apply advanced analytical skills for financial modeling, forecasting, deal analysis and executive recommendations.

This is a full‑time position located in Toronto, Ontario, with the expectation that the candidate will bring 10 + years of commercial‑real‑estate experience, demonstrated leadership, strong analytical and financial modeling skills, and a commercial mindset aimed at driving bottom‑line results.
- Demonstrate 10+ years of progressive commercial‑real‑estate experience, preferably in industrial/logistics, with full lease‑transaction management expertise.
- Exhibit critical‑thinking, lean‑management and continuous‑improvement mindset to enhance operational processes.
- Hold a current real‑estate licence or obtain one within six months (company‑supported).
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; MBA or master’s in Finance/Real Estate; direct development and acquisition experience in the Toronto industrial market.
Benefits
Compensation includes a base salary of $210,000–$290,000 CAD plus bonus and long‑term incentives, and the company will cover costs for obtaining a real‑estate licence within six months.
