Pre Construction Manager

Description

• You'll prepare detailed estimates and studies at every stage preliminary, schematic, design development, and construction documents.
• You'll stay connected with contractors and architects, participate in design decisions, and provide input on value engineering, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• You'll collaborate with business development on proposals, presentations, and interviews, while helping sales and marketing build strong relationships with general contractors and design firms.
• You'll identify new opportunities, monitor cost trends, and evaluate subcontractor proposals.
• You'll also help prepare construction schedules for estimating purposes and work with operations to plan staffing and build project teams.

Requirements

I'm working with my client to find an experienced Pre-Construction Manager who can bring vision and precision to the early stages of complex commercial and industrial projects. If you're passionate about shaping projects from concept to completion, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

• At least four years of estimating experience in a pre-construction management role.
• Experience with Accubid or Conest.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Experience with large commercial and industrial projects from concept through close-out.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
