Telecommunications / Security Designer

Description

• Assist in problem resolution and technical troubleshooting when field support is needed.
• Define and develop complete project related construction documents to include all design documents (SD, DD, CD) to show design intent, project specifications and assist with system related activities within all construction administration (CA) activities.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry product offerings and research new emerging technologies.
• Provide Construction Administration Services such as reviewing submittals and responding to contractor questions.
• Coordinate with integrated, multidisciplinary project teams to develop functional requirements, system designs, and other project related requirements.
• Develop alternative system design concepts, feasibility and tradeoff studies and valueadded engineering when required for projects.
• Meet with project clients to evaluate, define and review customer needs/objectives and insure those requirements are met within the project design.

Requirements

• Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Preference given to local candidates
• Strong desire for continuous learning and professional education.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency to work in Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, must be able to learn new applications quickly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
• 5 years of related work experience.
