Project Controls Analyst

Description

The Project Controls Analyst acts as the primary financial liaison between construction sites and corporate finance, reporting to the Project Manager/Executive with guidance from the regional Project Controls Manager. The role supports projects ranging from $20 million to $1 billion, handling reporting, compliance, and financial processing while working directly on site with project teams and trade partners.

• Compile owner requisitions, subcontractor invoices, and consumable purchases; manage accounts payable and field payroll.
• Assist with project setup, closeout, contract review, lien waivers, insurance administration, and small‑business tracking.
• Prepare monthly financial forecasts, cost reports, KPI dashboards, and cash‑flow forecasts; monitor change orders and reconciliations.
• Lead contract administration, procurement, schedule coordination, and financial reporting; secure permits and verify subcontractor insurance.
• Facilitate project meetings, train team members, and develop positive relationships with owners, engineers, and design firms.
• Produce monthly job status reports, oversee project close‑out, and manage final payment documentation for subcontractors.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals and presentations; promote a culture of safety, inclusion, and diversity.

Requirements

• Required qualifications: degree in construction management, accounting, finance or related field (or equivalent experience); strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Preferred qualifications: experience with SAP, Textura, Coupa, or Google platforms; strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
