Description

Lead and oversee the process of responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and tenders. Manage a team responsible for preparing and submitting proposals, ensuring quality and completeness, and coordinating with internal stakeholders. Effectively manage the entire tender and proposal process from initial assessment to submission to maximize the company’s chances of winning contracts and projects. Enhance the company’s competitiveness by continuously improving proposal quality and aligning responses with customer needs and company objectives.

• Present alfanar as a solution provider rather than a product supplier and target customers with the full product portfolio.
• Support pre‑sales, product development, and pre‑research to engage and build customer relationships.
• Manage and monitor all incoming inquiries/tenders for completeness and accurate pricing and technical schedules.
• Plan, organize, lead, and administer proposal development activities.
• Analyze and evaluate customer requests for proposals.
• Plan tender milestones and monitor deadlines for timely approvals and submissions.
• Coordinate and follow up with proposal team members, resource allocation, and completeness.
• Verify and quality‑control cost and price calculation tools.
• Lead proposal review and approval routines.
• Analyze and coordinate answers to customer questions and participate in negotiations.
• Produce winning proposals that meet customer requirements.
• Lead negotiations during the bidding stage to secure the best offers from suppliers.
• Develop tender tools and maintain a database to ensure accurate tender outcomes.
• Control project budget and delivery by coordinating with all related functions.
• Extend the company's portfolio in coordination with marketing product managers and factories.
• Support the marketing team to enhance marketing tools.
• Enhance technical competencies for the Tender Team, Customer, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Maintain a Lessons Learned database from existing projects.
• Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers to build a robust second line of management.
• Identify low performers and guide improvement or release them.
• Treat subordinates equally without discrimination.
• Assess subordinates based on performance that leads to planned results.
• Ensure availability of a delegation of authority matrix per company policy.
• Take full responsibility for operations as per job description and required deliverables, considering general company guidelines.
• Anticipate problems and take proactive steps to prevent them.
• Make timely and proper decisions.
• Deliver required results promptly with required quality and cost.
• Transform corporate goals into business plans.
• Plan, follow up, and execute annual or development plans.

• Develop the organizational structure based on current and future requirements.
• Ensure job descriptions are available for all roles and deployments.
• Develop, coordinate, and document systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
• Navigate IT solutions relevant to the job and business.
• Promote and fully utilize automated systems to spread its culture.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field is required. Candidates should have 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
