The Technical Services Representative for the Tennessee Valley territory provides in‑field technical support to customers, including authorized FiberTite applicators, building owners, architects, roofing consultants and sales personnel. This role requires traveling extensively to perform site visits, inspections, training, warranty investigations and to coordinate with regional sales and Technical Services teams.
- Plan and schedule work per Technical Services Guidelines; arrange travel to job sites.
- Conduct roof‑site visits to monitor FiberTite installations and resolve issues promptly.
- Train FiberTite applicator personnel on proper product use and installation techniques.
- Perform final inspections to ensure technical compliance and warranty eligibility.
- Investigate warranty claims and execute necessary repairs as directed by Warranty Services.
- Provide technical assistance to regional sales teams to support their sales efforts.
- Maintain weekly communication with Technical Services staff for coordinated information sharing.
- Adhere to company expense, vehicle, environmental and safety policies.
- Operate hot‑air welding equipment and perform hand‑welding of flashing details.
- Use basic PC applications (Word, Excel, email, Internet) and produce clear written reports.

- Travel extensively within the Tennessee Valley territory and occasionally beyond.
- Hold a high school diploma/GED and 2‑5 years roofing or roof‑inspection experience.
- Read construction blueprints, perform basic estimating, and understand single‑ply roof systems.
- Demonstrate knowledge of roof leak detection, repair methods, and relevant building codes (FM, UL, Miami‑Dade).
- Preferred: IIBEC Registered Roof Observer certification and fluency in Spanish.
- Exhibit safety awareness, customer focus, collaboration, entrepreneurship, continuous improvement and results‑driven mindset.
