Graduate of the Fire Protection Program considered an asset
Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification or completion of CFAA Theory exam considered an asset
Ability to follow direction and work under stress in various types of environments and situations
Tact and diplomacy in dealings across a range of settings and situation
Effective written and verbal communication
Computer literacy in Windows, Work, Excel, Point-point and Gmail
Have working knowledge of EST3 fire alarm panels / direct tenants and public regarding emergencies
Working knowledge of EST3 fire alarm Panel and Fire Works Software considered an asset
Completion of NFPA 1031 Certified Fire Inspector 1 and 2 from a recognized post-secondary institution considered an asset
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Floor Plans
Articulate training platforms to selected audiences
Self-motivated and able to exercise good judgement in absence of management
Thoroughly conversant with Ontario Building and Fire Code for compliance
Flexibility and adaptability in dealing with a diversity of situations and people
Minimum 2 years working experience in the field
