City Operations Lead

Description

The role owns all client deliverables for city facilities, ensuring comprehensive facility management services that meet contractual terms and continuously improve performance. It is responsible for achieving financial and operational KPIs, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating with internal JLL functions and client stakeholders to drive outcomes.

• Lead delivery of all client facilities across the city, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
• Manage and achieve financial KPIs, budgets, and operational expense targets.
• Oversee a team of up to 200 staff, setting expectations, providing training, and conducting performance assessments.
• Drive vendor and supplier relationships, including selection, evaluation, and contract management.
• Ensure occupational safety compliance and risk management, including business continuity planning.
• Utilize technology tools to optimize operations and track energy‑saving initiatives.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and produce timely reports for clients and senior management.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and innovation projects within facilities.

Requirements

The City Lead – Operations is a full‑time role reporting to the India Operations Director / Account Director, overseeing up to 200 staff members at the Hyderabad site. The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 12‑14 years of overall experience, including 10‑12 years in facilities management, FM services, hotels, or projects.

Key competencies include strong interpersonal and client‑focused skills, leadership and line‑management ability, technical understanding of performance‑based service contracts, and knowledge of occupational safety requirements. The candidate must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication, analytical capabilities, and a learning‑oriented, innovative mindset.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• 12‑14 years total experience, with 10‑12 years relevant in facilities management, FM services, hotels, or projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proven financial analysis and budget management capabilities.
• Knowledge of occupational safety regulations and performance‑based service contracts.
