Overview

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment in a manufacturing plant.

Tasks

-Maintain spare parts inventory -Respond to emergency situations as necessary -Read and interpret Electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications -Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records -Plan and oversee testing and calibration of electrical and electronic equipment and tools on a scheduled basis -Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical components such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and fuse disconnects -Troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices -Comply with internal and corporate policies, procedures and regulations with respect to Health & Safety -Work closely with Operations and Mechanical Maintenance personnel

What You Bring

-Licensed Industrial Electrician 442A -Minimum of 5 years of experience in a continuous manufacturing environment -Must have knowledge of AC/DC Drives, Relay Logic, RS logix 500 and control logix Programming -Good communication skills (verbal and written) -RRSP Match -Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work collaboratively -The position is subject to shift/weekend work and availability for on call in emergency -Work with computers, AC/DC drives, HMI’s and PLC’s -Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma is a plus
