The role includes scheduling, organizing, and conducting tours for prospective residents in independent, assisted‑living, memory‑care, and skilled nursing settings, as well as responding promptly to all walk‑ins, phone, and mail inquiries. The director will plan and execute events such as seminars, speaker sessions, themed gatherings, and family nights in partnership with the Sales and Marketing Team and Program Director to generate leads. Building and sustaining relationships with residents, families, and professional care providers, maintaining software and CRM proficiency, and participating in weekend call rotation are also essential duties.
Achieving the required number of budgeted move‑ins and net gains each month is a core objective, accomplished through close collaboration with the Executive Director, Regional Director of Operations, and Divisional Director of Sales and Marketing on quarterly marketing plans and community outreach programs. Responsibilities also include quarterly media planning with vendors, daily sales activity reporting, managing hot boards, communicating special resident needs, overseeing the sales toolbox, and staying informed on industry trends and senior care needs. The director must maintain an active waitlist, conduct quarterly competitor reviews, ensure confidentiality, and comply with all Senior Lifestyle policies and applicable regulations.

Ideal candidates have senior housing or hospitality sales experience, thrive in competitive inside and outside sales environments, and preferably hold a college degree. They are outgoing, personable, competitive, organized, self‑motivated leaders with a valid driver’s license, English fluency, a resilient attitude, and a professional demeanor. Proficiency with CRM systems and sales metrics is required.
