Providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services for commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
The Site Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing the quality program for installation projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, industry standards such as NEC and NFPA, and client requirements. This role reports to the Director of Quality Assurance and works closely with Aftermarket Services Installation and Construction teams at each job site.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, developing installation‑specific QA/QC plans and inspection/test plans, and conducting regular site inspections across structural, architectural, and critical MEP systems. The Supervisor also coordinates third‑party testing, ensures adherence to national and local building codes, and manages non‑conformances through root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
Additional duties involve serving as the primary liaison among owners, general contractors, trade partners, design teams, and vendors to align quality expectations, maintaining detailed records in project management software, and providing training on quality procedures and tools. The role collaborates with the site safety team to integrate quality processes with health and safety standards and can halt work when non‑conforming conditions are identified.
Candidates must be highly computer literate, capable of analyzing complex data, and skilled at leading teams and collaborating with junior staff. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, along with certifications such as ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and OSHA 30.
Minimum qualifications include 5+ years of QA/QC experience on large‑scale, mission‑critical construction projects—particularly data centers—supervisory experience in industrial and modular installation environments, and deep knowledge of MEP systems, relevant codes, and the data‑center commissioning process. Preferred credentials include ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 3834‑3, AISC 207‑20, and NEC training, as well as certifications like USACE/NAVFAC CQM, ASQ CMQ/OE, CQA, or Certified Commissioning Professional.
The position is roughly half desk‑based and half field‑based, requiring occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds and frequent activities such as stooping, bending, and repetitive motions. Visual acuity for color and depth perception is essential for data analysis and extensive reading on site.
