Collaborates with the Manager, Integrated Construction Technology with the review of VDC / technology contract language and BIM execution plan.
Promotes the use of virtual construction tools and processes to project staff.
Collaborates with the project team with the development of construction-site logistics models.
Collaborates with the Manager, Integrated Construction Technology on kickoff meeting at project start-up.
During the pursuit stage, works with the project team to review and recommend scopes that VDC tools and processes can be incorporated into the project.
Shares new technologies with project teams and seeks to drive adoption of PCL technologies through operational processes.
Builds, reviews, or validates virtual models from plans, specifications, and elevations.
Aggregates and keeps multidiscipline construction models current, ensuring that project modeling standards are adhered to.
Creates and coordinates the processing of RFIs with the project team.
Collaborates with estimating on model compliance checking and validation.
Supervises the coordination and management of the trade detailing and design deliverables.
Facilitates the trade partner model coordination process and reports to the project management team, as required.

Understanding of construction sequences.
Proficient in 3D modeling software and the ability to create content in VDC software.
Bachelors' degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in a buildings-industry related discipline (e.g., architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), civil, architectural).
Ability to start the request for information documentation process.
2 to 4 years of construction-related experience, including 1 to 2 years of Virtual Design and Construction-related experience.
Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D construction drawings and specifications and translate 2D drawings and specifications into a 3D/4D Building Information Model with direct supervision.
Ability to create and communicate markups on construction drawings.
Ability to assist with trade partner deliverables and scope and coordinate multiple trade partner models.
Ability to participate in trade coordination meetings and manage and communicate trade partner deliverables and scope.
Ability to provide project model management. Knowledge of the building construction process and the various building components involved at each stage of construction.
Exposure to 4D scheduling software and planning tools.
Awareness of implementing construction technology.
Ability to read the construction model and understand the scope.
