Operations Manager

Description

The role oversees production facilities and manufacturing, ensuring that products and activities are completed safely, meet quality standards, stay on schedule, and adhere to cost objectives.

• Assist in developing and executing long‑ and short‑range facility plans, policies, programs, and objectives.
• Develop manufacturing plans and procedures to ensure products meet customer and company quality standards.
• Optimize employee levels and minimize overhead and raw material costs to meet budgetary targets.
• Formulate and recommend manufacturing policies and programs that enhance competitiveness and profitability.
• Direct and monitor department managers to achieve manufacturing and safety goals.
• Hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff, taking corrective action as needed and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Identify, recommend, and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost, scrap, and rework; monitor related data.
• Establish, implement, and maintain production standards.
• Coordinate essential manufacturing programs such as training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, and security.

Requirements

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, inventory, and quality management systems, be proficient with ERP and analytics tools, understand integrated supply‑chain processes, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and at least seven years of manufacturing operations experience are required.
