Offer companionship by joining clients on walks or accompanying them on visits
Support residents with their ADLs and/or IADLs, including but not limited to:
Maintain confidentiality and privacy of any PHI per HIPAA requirements
Protect yourself with proper transfer and lift techniques
Communicate changes in a resident's condition to the nurse on duty
Provide personal care and assist with home making
Participate in ongoing education and training offered by Givens and/or outside resources as required
Always practice within your scope of training, license and certification, whilst also adhering to all relevant and applicable policies and procedures
Assist and perform tasks delegated by Campus and Home Care nurses
Maintain chart documentation, and utilize applicable software to do so
Always practice safety and infection control methods
