In this position the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, governance and stakeholder engagement, ensuring projects meet budget, scope and schedule targets while providing a client‑focused experience.
- Manage and deliver government and client projects across NSW and Australia, varying in size and complexity.
- Lead project governance, including budget, scope, schedule, invoicing, variations and cashflow.
- Engage internal teams, clients, contractors and stakeholders to align objectives and support technical discussions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive Project Plans covering scope, resources, procurement, budgeting, scheduling, change management, reporting and closeout.
- Work on major programs with diverse career pathways in a global consultancy.

The company is seeking a Project Manager to work from its Sydney or Newcastle office on a diverse portfolio of water, energy and transport programs. The role offers the chance to lead transformative initiatives while collaborating with a global team driven by a common purpose.
Ideal candidates hold a tertiary qualification in project management, construction management, engineering or a related discipline, and bring 5‑8 years of client‑side project or construction management experience within transport, energy, water or capital works. Strong communication skills and the ability to cultivate contractor and client relationships are essential, with additional experience in project controls or procurement viewed as a plus.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in project management, construction management, engineering or related fields.
- Possess 5–8 years of client‑side project or construction management experience in transport, energy, water, buildings or capital works.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong contractor and client relationships, identify pipeline opportunities and support tender development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in project controls, program management or procurement is desirable.
- Ability to swap public holidays for those that suit personal preferences.
