Description

As a Project Controls Analyst at Clark Construction, you will act as the principal financial liaison between construction operations and corporate finance, overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and processing for projects ranging from $20 million to $1 billion in contract value.

You will report directly to the Project Manager/Project Executive with guidance from the regional Lead Project Controls Manager, working on‑site alongside project teams and trade partners to ensure seamless coordination.

• Compile and process owner requisitions and subcontractor invoices.
• Resolve internal audit findings related to project finance.
• Purchase consumable materials and monitor equipment inventory.
• Manage field payroll and assist with project setup and closeout.
• Administer lien waivers, insurance documentation, and small‑business tracking.
• Prepare monthly financial forecasts, cost reports, and KPI dashboards.
• Monitor project cash flow, change orders, and contract compliance.
• Secure required permits and verify subcontractor insurance coverage.
• Facilitate and document project coordination meetings.
• Lead, train, and develop project team members.
• Produce and submit monthly job status reports outlining priorities and issues.
• Oversee project close‑out activities, including manual turnover and final payments.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, and design firms.
• Drive safety culture on site and support proposal development for new work.
• Promote inclusion, diversity, and talent recruitment within the team.

Requirements

The role demands sustained desk work, including data analysis and document review, as well as periodic travel to active construction sites. You must be able to lift up to 10 lb regularly and up to 25 lb occasionally.

• Hold a degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred: CPA certification or accounting experience; familiarity with SAP, Textura, Coupa, or Google platforms.
• Exhibit strong organizational, quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
