Description

• Mentor and Develop Teams: Provide leadership, training, and support to project safety teams, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with organisational goals.
• Enhance Safety Systems: Implement and improve safety management systems, tailored to diverse project needs.
• Collaborate Across Projects: Work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to foster a culture of safety and ensure best practices are applied consistently.
• Conduct Audits and Assessments: Perform regular inspections, risk assessments, and compliance checks to maintain high safety standards.
• Lead Safety Initiatives: Manage and oversee safety performance across multiple infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with Victorian legislation and organisational standards.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising across diverse teams and contractors.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead safety programs
• Extensive experience in senior safety roles, specifically across multiple large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor safety teams across complex project environments.
• Relevant qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Vic safety legislation, systems, and risk management frameworks.
